NIAID Joint Initiative

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) recently awarded a contract for a ‘Center of Excellence for Influenza Research and Surveillance’, a joint initiative between researchers at Emory University and the University of Georgia. Ralph Tripp and Mark Tompkins of the CMM are key members of the initiative that includes collaborative links with the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute in Harbin, China.
